My Interests and Values

For thirteen years my interests and life revolved around dancing. I took many types of dance classes including tap, ballet, modern, jazz, point, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater. I was in the company which goes to competitions and competes against other dance studios from all over. Tap was what I was best at therefore I was very interested in it. I quickly picked up every step and dance since it came so easily to me. I enjoy dancing because it is a good way to express yourself through movement when you don’t have the words to say. It is also a great way to exercise and stay in shape. I’m also interested in acting. I’ve been in plays with my churches and the community as long as I can remember. Acting allowed me to be someone else, someone more interesting than me. I love getting all dressed up with my makeup and hair done and going on stage and performing. Having all eyes on you watching your every move wondering what you’ll say next. Then at the end of the performance the audience cheers and claps, I love that feeling.

I strongly oppose abortion because it goes against everything I believe. Abortion is murder and if committing murder is punishable by law then so should abortion be. As soon as the sperm reaches the egg, life begins. No one should have their life taken from them by another human just because they’re unwanted. Only God should have that power and make that decision. I think that if a person has values they wouldn’t commit murder and since abortion is murder, they shouldn’t have an abortion. If you don’t want a baby then use protection or don’t have sex. There are consequences for your actions so be prepared to accept them.
